Orthopedic Physiotherapy involves the care of the injuries and conditions that affect the neuromusculoskeletal system: bones, nerves, joints, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue.
On the initial visit you can expect a thorough medical screen and comprehensive assessment, that takes the whole body into perspective.
This is followed by one-on-one treatment, that consists of hands-on manual therapy, joint mobilization, individualized exercise program and education to determine the best treatment strategies to provide pain relief, movement restoration as well as maximization of strength and functional performance.
